This day continues after breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day safari in the Eastern Serengeti. Wildebeest parting in the great wildebeest migration typically resides in the northeastern Serengeti and migrates further south in December. Gol Kopjes, located on the eastern plains, has the highest concentration of cheetahs in Africa during the rainy season. Most cheetahs in the Serengeti are migratory, as many of them follow the migration of the Thomson’s gazelle to the eastern shortgrass plains during the wet season and then return to the central Serengeti (plain/forest boundary) during the wet season this part is the habitat of most animals found in the Serengeti Migration.
The great Serengeti wildebeest migration is the movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti’s wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, eland, and impala. These move in an annual pattern which is fairly predictable. They migrate throughout the year, constantly seeking fresh grazing and better-quality water.
