Itinerary in details.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our guide driver, and after briefing transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will be served lunch en route as you make a stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to encounter the black rhinos in their natural habitat. Then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park in the evening to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
After a delicious breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will take you to the park for a game viewing adventure experience. Encounter the remaining 4 of the Big 5 and other wildlife species like giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, and waterbuck to mention but a few.
Conclude your game drive experience with a visit to the mighty Murchison Falls the strongest waterfall in the world. Its sheer power and strength portrayed by its roar will you with an everlasting memory. Later head back to your lodge for lunch and be transferred to Kibale National Park for about 4-5 hours. By evening you will have settled into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning after breakfast, take on a chimpanzee trekking experience. This will be after a short briefing on the expected code of conduct. Later head to the forest of Kibale on a search for the chimps. Upon locating them you will have an hour them before returning to your lodge for lunch.
This trekking process takes about 4-5 hours depending on the troop of chimps being trekked. In the afternoon, hit the country road of beautiful sceneries and landscapes to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening as you settle into your lodge you will be served dinner and sleep.
Day 4: Game drive in the Ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On the fourth day of your trip, wake up to breakfast very early in the morning. Our guide driver will then transfer to the Ishasha sector for an experience with the tree-climbing lions. Stop these heavy cats resting high up in the fig trees after a busy night of hunting.
Also encounter elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards, warthogs, and waterbucks on your game drive in the Ishasha region. Then drive back to your lodge for lunch and check out as you will be heading to Bwindi. In the evening you will already be in the lodge for dinner.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking and departure
In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will be woken up by the sweet music of the morning glory birds just in time for breakfast. Then prepare and head out to the briefing center for the pre-trekking briefing about the rules and regulations of the gorilla trekking experience.
Get grouped into categories of 8 people and with a lead guide range head in the dense forest canopies to trek the endangered morning gorillas. Each group is assigned a gorilla family to trek. The hour you spend with primates after locating them will leave you longing for more. After devouring the last meal of your trip, proceed to Entebbe for your departure flight back home.
