Day 1: Arrival and Juba City tour
Upon arrival, our guide driver will pick you up and embark on an exploration adventure of Juba City. This epic experience will take you to the John Garang Mausoleum which is a monument where the South Sudanese revolutionist John Garang was burial after he was killed in a plane crash on his way from Uganda. This mausoleum is located in the heart of Juba City at the Independence grounds. As you move to the mausoleum, you will pass by the different shops of jewelry, textiles, and arts and crafts.
Also visit the colonial era statue in the city center before driving above the River Nile on the Nile bridge so you enjoy the beautiful scenes of the river. You will then have lunch as you prepare for a cultural experience in the city. In the afternoon you will enjoy a cultural tour of the Mundari tribe. Experience their traditions and cultures like herding, norms, and values. Also experience some of their activities like wrestling and arts and crafts. In the evening, you will head to Juba International Airport for your departure flight back home.
